Dan Ziegler

Dan Ziegler rejoined Williams & Jensen as a Principal in 2025 after previously working at the firm in 2023. He has nearly two decades of experience shaping public policy both on and off Capitol Hill. Dan returns to the firm after serving as the Policy Director to Speaker Mike Johnson during the 118th Congress and the beginning of the 119th Congress. He previously served as the Executive Director of the Republican Study Committee (RSC), the largest caucus in Congress with over 160 House Republican members, including two years working for Speaker Mike Johnson during his tenure as the RSC Chairman during the 116th Congress.

Prior to his tenure at the RSC, Dan was the Managing Director for Government Relations for Heritage Action for America and served as a Heritage Foundation liaison to the House of Representatives and the Executive Branch. Dan also has Executive Branch experience through service as a political appointee at the Department of the Interior during the George W. Bush Administration.
