Christopher W. Hatcher

Professional Background

Prior to joining the firm, he was Legislative Director and Counsel for Congressman Scott McInnis (CO) for six years. In that role, Mr. Hatcher was responsible for handling every aspect of the Congressman’s tax and trade issues on matters before the Ways and Means Committee, on which Congressman McInnis served. Mr. Hatcher also served as an associate staff member of the Rules Committee, which determines the ground rules for, and which amendments will be allowed on individual pieces of legislation brought to the House floor.

Mr. Hatcher was an associate for two years at the firm of Bosley & Hutzelman, P.C. where he focused on a practice of tax and pension law. Prior to law school, Mr. Hatcher served in several roles at the Treasury Department from 1989 through 1993, rising to Legislative Manager for the Office of Legislative Affairs, focused on banking, health care and tax issues.

Mr. Hatcher is a member of the bar of the District of Columbia and Virginia.
