  • Senate – The Senate passed S.1934, the Alaska Remote Generator Reliability and Protection Act; H.R. 754, a to award the Congressional Gold Medal to Anwar Sadat in recognition of his heroic achievements and courageous contributions to peace in the Middle East; S. 2376, Asia Reassurance Initiative Act; S. 3530 Museum and Library Services Act Reauthorization; a Continuing Resolution funding the government through December 21 and confirmed Bernard L.
