  • House –The House passed the “Walnut Grove Land Exchange Act”  (H.R. 5943); the “Every Kid Outdoors Act” (H.R. 3186); the “Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism Act” (H.R. 1911); and the conference report to accompany “FY 2019 appropriations for Energy and Water, Legislative Branch, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs” (H.R. 5895). 

 

  • Senate –The Senate passed the “PREEMIE Act” (S.3029); an act “to award a Congressional Gold Medal, collectively, to the Chinese-American Veterans of World War II” (S.1050); the conference report to accompany “FY 2019 appropriations for Energy and Water, Legislative Branch, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs” (H.R. 5895); and confirmed Charles P. Retting to be Commissioner of the IRS.

 

Next Week in Congress

  • House -The House is in recess until September 25.

 

  • Senate –The Senate may consider the “SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act” (H.R. 6); and “the Patient Right to Know Drug Prices Act” (S.2554).
