The House will consider three bills under suspension of the rules as well as the Conference Report to Accompany H.R. 1 – Tax Cuts & Jobs Act and H.R. 3312 – Systemic Risk Designation Improvement Act of 2017. The Senate will proceed to the consideration of Jennifer Gillian Newstead, to be Legal Adviser of the Department of State.

    • By 62 yeas to 34 nays (Vote No. EX. 318), J. Paul Compton, Jr., of Alabama, to be General Counsel of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
