  • The House reconvenes at noon for legislative business. The chamber is expected to take a final vote on a bill under suspension of the rules (HR 5049) and consider a bill (HR 5053) that would prohibit the IRS from requiring that tax-exempt organizations disclose their contributor lists. The House is also expected to begin consideration of a bill (HR 5293) that would provide funding for the Defense Department for FY 2017.

Barring any further agreement, the Senate would dispose of any pending germane amendments, passage of the bill as amended, and cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R.2578, Commerce, Justice, Science appropriations. If cloture is invoked on the motion to proceed to H.R.2578, it will be considered to have been invoked at 10:00pm, Monday, June 13.
