  • America’s Small Business Tax Relief Act–Agreement: Senate continued consideration of the motion to proceed to consideration of H.R. 636, to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to permanently extend increased expensing limitations.
    • A unanimous-consent agreement was reached providing for further consideration of the motion to proceed to consideration of the bill at approximately 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, April 6, 2016.
  • Nomination Confirmed: Senate confirmed the following nomination:
    • John E. Sparks, of Virginia, to be a Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces for the term of fifteen years to expire on the date prescribed by law.
