This week the House passed the “Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreational Enhancement Act of 2015” (H.R. 2406) and the “Fraudulent Joinder Prevention Act of 2015” (H.R. 3624).

This Week in Congress

  • House – The House passed the “Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreational Enhancement Act of 2015” (H.R. 2406) and the “Fraudulent Joinder Prevention Act of 2015” (H.R. 3624).

 

  • Senate – The Senate confirmed the nomination of nomination of Robert Califf to be Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration. It began consideration of the “Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act of 2015” (S. 524).

 

Next Week in Congress

  • House – The House may consider the “Ensuring Terminated Providers are Removed from Medicaid and CHIP Act” (H.R. 3716) and the “Blocking Regulatory Interference from Closing Kilns Act of 2016” (H.R. 4557).

 

  • Senate – The Senate is expected to resume consideration of the “Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act of 2015” (S. 524). The Senate may resume consideration of the “Energy Policy Modernization Act of 2015” (S. 2012).
