This week the House passed H.R. 702, to lift the ban on U.S. crude oil exports; and the “Homebuyers Assistance Act” (H.R. 3192) to prohibit the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from enforcing a Dodd-Frank mortgage disclosure rule until February 1, 2016.

This Week in Congress

  • House –The House passed H.R. 702, to lift the ban on U.S. crude oil exports; and the “Homebuyers Assistance Act” (H.R. 3192) to prohibit the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from enforcing a Dodd-Frank mortgage disclosure rule until February 1, 2016.

 

  • Senate – The Senate agreed to the conference report to accompany the “National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016” (H.R.1735). The cloture motion on the “FY 2016 Energy and Water Appropriations Act” (H.R.2028) was not agreed to.
