This Week’s Update

This week the House voted against the Iran nuclear agreement by a vote of 247–186. The House passed the “National All Schedules Prescription Electronic Reporting Authorization Act of 2015” (H.R. 1725); the “Stem Cell Therapeutic and Research Authorization Act of 2015” (H.R. 2820); the “E-Warranty Act of 2015” (S. 1359); the “Protecting Our Infants Act of 2015” (H.R. 1462); and the “Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Act of 2015” (H.R. 1344).

This Week in Congress

  • House – The House voted against the Iran nuclear agreement by a vote of 247–186.   • Senate – The Senate did not agree to the motion to invoke cloture on H.J.Res.61, to disapprove of the Iran nuclear agreement. 

 

Next Week in Congress

  • House – The House will consider the “RAPID Act” (H.R. 348) and the “Lawsuit Abuse Reduction Act of 2015” (H.R. 758) pursuant to a rule. 

 

  • Senate – The Senate will resume consideration of H.J.Res.61, the legislative vehicle for the Congressional disapproval of the proposed Iran nuclear agreement.
