The House and Senate reconvene for lame-duck session

House

 

Yesterday:

  • The House was in recess since September 19th.

Today:

  • The House will meet at 2:00 p.m. for legislative business. Votes will be postponed until 6:30 p.m.
    • There will be votes on 5 bills including a measure that would create a procedure for former presidents to request continued restricted access to materials from their administration; and a bill to reauthorize the EPA’s National Estuary Program.

 

Senate

 

Yesterday:

  • The Senate was in recess since September 19th.

Today:

  • The Senate will reconvene at 2 p.m. Wednesday and be in a period of morning business until 5:30 p.m. and will then hold cloture votes on two district judge nominations.
