Yesterday:

  • The House agreed to H.J. Res. 124, to make continuing appropriations for fiscal year 2015, by a vote of 319-108.

Today:

  • The House will meet at 12:00 PM for legislative business, and is expected to consider the “American Energy Solutions for Lower Costs and More American Jobs Act” (H.R. 2) under a closed rule.

 

Senate

 

Yesterday:

  • The Senate voted to confirm a number of nominations, including John Bass to be Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey by a vote of 98-0.

Today:

  • The Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the FY 2015 Continuing Resolution (H. J. Res. 124) and final passage.
    • Final passage of H.J. Res. 124 will only require a simple majority
