  • The House passed Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2015 (H.R. 4745).

Today:

  • The House will begin consideration of H.R. 4800 – Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of 2015 with first votes expected between 1:30 and 2:30; and last votes expected in the evening.

 

Senate

 

Yesterday:

  • The Senate continued consideration of the motion to proceed to consideration of S. 2432 to amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to provide for the refinancing of certain Federal student loans.
  • The Senate agreed to the motion to close further debate on the nominations of Lael Brainard and Jerome Powell as members of Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System; and Stanley Fischer to be Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

Today:

  • The Senate is expected to resume consideration of the motion to proceed to S.2432, a bill to amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to provide for the refinancing of certain Federal student loans. The Senate will hold a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to S.2432.
