  • The Senate resumed consideration of the nomination of Keith Harper for the rank of Ambassador during his tenure of service as United States Representative to the UN Human Rights Council and agreed to the motion to close further debate on the nomination by a vote of 51 – 37.

Today:

  • The Senate will hold roll call votes on the confirmation of the Harper nomination and on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Sharon Bowen to be a Commissioner of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
