Yesterday:

  • The House agreed to suspend the rules and pass the following measures:
    • Space Launch Liability Indemnification Extension Act: H.R. 3547, to extend the application of certain space launch liability provisions through 2014, by a \2/3\ yea-and-nay vote of 376 yeas to 5 nays, Roll No. 612 and
    • Community Fire Safety Act of 2013: H.R. 3588, to amend the Safe Drinking Water Act to exempt fire hydrants from the prohibition on the use of lead pipes, fittings, fixtures, solder, and flux, by a \2/3\ yea-and-nay vote of 384 yeas with none voting ”nay”, Roll No. 613.
  • The Chair announced the Speaker’s appointment of the following Members to the House Commission on Congressional Mailing Standards: Representative Miller (MI), Chairman; Representatives Price (GA) and Latta.

  • The House is expected to suspend the rules and consider the following measures:
