This Week in Congress

  • House – The House was in recess.

 

  • Senate – The Senate passed the “Employee Non-Discrimination Act” (S. 815), as amended, by a vote of 64-32. The Senate began consideration of the motion to proceed to consideration of the “Drug Quality and Security Act” (H.R. 3204).

 

Next Week in Congress

  • House – The House is expected to consider the “Furthering Asbestos Claim Transparency (FACT) Act of 2013” (H.R. 982), the “Lawsuit Abuse Reduction Act of 2013” (H.R. 2655), and the “Keep Your Health Plan Act of 2013” (H.R. 3350).

 

  • Senate – The Senate is expected to vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Cornelia Pillard to be United States Circuit Judge for the District of Columbia Circuit and on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed the “Drug Quality and Security Act” (H.R. 3204).
