  • The House passed Food and Drug Administration Continuing Appropriations Resolution, 2014, H.J. Res. 77, making continuing appropriations for the Food and Drug Administration for fiscal year 2014, by a yea-and-nay vote of 235 yeas to 162 nays, Roll No. 528.
    • Agreed to table the appeal of the ruling of the chair on a point of order sustained against the Farr motion to recommit the joint resolution to the Committee on Appropriations with instructions to report the same back to the House forthwith with an amendment, by a yea-and-nay vote of 217 yeas to 182 nays, Roll No. 527.

Today:

  • The House is expected to consider the following matters:
    • H.J.Res. 84 – Head Start for Low-Income Children Act (Closed Rule, 40 Minutes of Debate) (Sponsored by Rep. Harold Rogers / Appropriations Committee)

    • Sara Lee Ellis, of Illinois, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.
