Yesterday:

  • The House agreed to the conference report to accompany the “National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2013” (H.R. 4310) and a bill to address the budget sequestration at the beginning of next year (H.R. 6684). The scheduled vote on the Republican “Plan B” proposal to extend expiring tax provisions (H. J. Res. 66) was canceled due to a lack of support.

  • The Senate considered the Hurricane Sandy Emergency Supplemental Appropriations bill (H.R. 1).
