  • The House approved the “Agriculture Disaster Assistance Act of 2012” (H.R. 6233) and the “Pathway to Job Creation through a Simpler, Fairer Tax Code Act of 2012” (H.R. 6169). The House also approved African Trade, Dominican Republic-Central American-United States Free Trade Agreement, Burma Sanctions legislation (H.R. 5986), which extends preferential treatment to garments produced in Africa, renews a Central American trade pact, and renews import restrictions on Myanmar.

Today:

  • The House is in recess until September 10, 2012.
