Yesterday:

  • The House approved the “Job Protection and Recession Prevention Act of 2012” (H.R. 8), the “Iran Sanctions, Accountability, and Human Rights Act of 2012” (H.R. 1905), and several noncontroversial bills under suspension of the rules.

Today:

  • The House will consider the “Agriculture Disaster Assistance Act of 2012” (H.R. 6233) and the “Pathway to Job Creation through a Simpler, Fairer Tax Code Act of 2012” (H.R. 6169).

 

Senate

Yesterday:

  • The Senate approved the “Iran Sanctions, Accountability, and Human Rights Act of 2012” (H.R. 1905) and continued consideration of the “Cybersecurity Act of 2012” (S. 3414).


Today:

  • The Senate will consider the African Trade/CAFTADR/Burma Sanctions legislation which would extend preferential treatment to garments produced in Africa and renew import restrictions on Myanmar. The Senate will also hold a cloture vote on the “Cybersecurity Act of 2012” (S. 3414).
