  • The House approved the “Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2012” (H.R. 459), and the “Congressional Replacement of President Obama’s Energy-Restricting and Job-Limiting Offshore Drilling Plan” (H.R. 6082).

Today:

  • The House will complete consideration of the “Red Tape Reduction and Small Business Job Creation Act” (H.R. 4078) and consider a resolution condemning the “heinous atrocities that occurred in Aurora, Colorado” (H. Res. 741).

 

Senate

Yesterday:

  • The Senate held two votes on the 2001/2003 tax rate extensions. The Republican proposal (S. 3413) was not agreed to. The Democratic proposal (S. 3412) was adopted.


Today:

  • The Senate will begin consideration of the motion to proceed to the “Cybersecurity Act of 2012” (S. 3414).
