This Week in Congress

  • House – The House approved the “Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act” (H.R. 3606), the “Bureau of Reclamation Small Conduit Hydropower Development and Rural Jobs Act of 2011” (H.R. 2842), and a bill to “apply the countervailing duty provisions of the Tariff Act of 1930 to nonmarket economy countries” (H.R. 4105).

 

  • Senate – The Senate continued consideration of the surface transportation bill, the “Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century (MAP-21) Act” (S. 1813) and approved a bill to “apply the countervailing duty provisions of the Tariff Act of 1930 to nonmarket economy countries” (H.R. 4105).

Next Week in Congress

  • House – The House is not in session next week.

 

  • Senate – The Senate will continue consideration of the surface transportation bill, the “Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century (MAP-21) Act” (S. 1813).
