This Week in Congress

  • House – The House approved two tax bills: “to modify the calculation of modified gross income for purposes of determining eligibility for certain health-care related programs” (H.R. 2576); and “to repeal the imposition of 3 percent withholding on certain payments made to vendors by government entities” (H.R. 674).


  • Senate – The Senate was not in session this week.

Next Week in Congress

  • House – The House will likely consider the “Entrepreneur Access to Capital Act” (H.R. 2930) and the “Access to Capital for Job Creators Act” (H.R. 2940).


  • Senate – The Senate will resume consideration of the appropriations bill for: Agriculture; Commerce, Justice and Science; and Transportation, Housing and Urban Development (H.R. 2112).
