  • House – The House approved a Continuing Resolution (CR) (H.R. 2017) to fund the government until October 4..
  • Senate – The Senate also approved the CR (H.R. 2017).

Next Week in Congress

  • House – The House is scheduled to consider a longer term Continuing Resolution (H.R. 2608). The House will also take up the “Cement Sector Regulatory Relief Act of 2011” (H.R. 2681), the “EPA Regulatory Relief Act of 2011” (H.R. 2250) and a bill to “return unused or reclaimed funds made available for broadband awards in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009” (H.R. 1343)..
  • Senate – The Senate will begin consideration of the “Currency Exchange Rate Oversight Reform Act” (S. 1619). It is also possible that the Senate will take further action on the Continuing Resolution (H.R. 2608).
