Yesterday:

  • The House failed to approve the Continuing Resolution (CR) to fund the government until November 18 (H.R. 2698). The House approved the “Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Extension” (H.R. 2943) under suspension of the rules.   

Today:

  • The House will consider the “Transparency in Regulatory Analysis of Impacts on the Nation (TRAIN) Act of 2011” (H.R. 2401). It is possible that the House will continue consideration of the CR (H.R. 2698).   

Senate

Yesterday:

  • The Senate continued consideration of H.R. 2832, the legislative vehicle for Trade Adjustment Assistance. 

Today:

  • The Senate will continue consideration of H.R. 2832 and amendments. Votes on amendments and final passage are expected to occur this afternoon. Pending approval in the House, the Senate may begin consideration of the Continuing Resolution.
