Tracy Doherty Taylor
Tracy Taylor joined Williams & Jensen in 1996 and became a principal in 2003. Ms. Taylor has over twenty years of legislative and regulatory experience at the federal level. She has worked on major reauthorization bills in the areas of surface transportation, aviation, consumer protection, immigration, and telecommunications.
Ms. Taylor has been involved in government and politics since moving to Washington. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Taylor served in the administration of President George H.W. Bush as director of a Federal advisory committee and head of a grant program at the Agency for International Development. She was staff director for International Programs for the 1988 and 1992 Republican Conventions, worked on the 1988 Inaugural, and was involved with media for the Florida state party during the 1992 election cycle.
In addition to serving Williams & Jensen clients, Ms. Taylor has volunteered on a number of different Republican campaigns and conventions. Most recently she volunteered on the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland assisting the Republican Platform Committee and working as a Floor Whip during the Convention. She is a member of the California and District of Columbia bar associations. Ms. Taylor currently resides in Virginia.
